Dennis Kucinich Media BlackoutLast week, Democratic Presidential Candidate Dennis Kucinich was notified by NBC that he would not be allowed to participate in the Democratic Debates broadcast by MSNBC on January 15, 2008. This was after NBC told him originally he would be allowed to participate. But last week, they changed the criteria and banned him from the debate. Kucinich sued NBC. A Nevada judge ruled in favor of Kucinich, and said NBC had to allow him into the debates. However, 30 minutes before the debate began, the Nevada Supreme Court overturned the lower court decision and said NBC could ban Kucinich from the debates. Outraged, Kathleen called NBC headquarters repeatedly, and was threatened that NBC/GE would send security guards after Kathleen because she was annoying the operators.
